I echo other reviews on this page - -- words cannot express how wonderful John and his team at S&J Homecare are. When I first contacted S&J, even though I could tell John was busy, he took the time to provide initial information and schedule a quick follow up call 30 min later. We spoke and I explained the 24 hour care my grandmother was going to require. John was very communicative, honest, open, and let me know all of our options and costs. (Nothing hidden).
When John arrived at my grandmother's condo, she met my Mom. My mother was so grateful and blown away at John's professionalism, gentle demeanor, friendliness and availability. John sat with my mom for over an hour as they spoke about the situation, and got to know each other. My grandmother arrived and S&J took over.
My grandmother was hesitant at first to trust anyone (which is understandable as she had been in the hospital for over three months) but within TWO HOURS she felt like she had found a friend and loved one. My grandmother cried on the phone with me as she explained how happy she was that people could be so kind, caring and helpful.He have been with my grandmother for about 3 weeks now, and she loves him. PS: I realize I neglected to post what the service provides: they provide essentially all care needs. They help my grandmother with bathing, toileting, sleeping, cooking, cleaning and lite chores. We are so grateful. Thanks!
